They formed the Moye Law Firm during the fall of 2007 in order to represent persons and families seeking an advocate.
DAVID W. MOYÉ
David W. (Dave) Moyé received his B.S. degree in accounting in 1977 from Arizona State University. As a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Moyé attended Samford University's Cumberland School of Law where he earned his J.D. in 1980. He was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 1980, passed the CPA exam in 1985, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1988. Dave's career in the U.S. Marine Corps included service as an officer in an infantry combat unit, judge advocate and ultimately a Judge presiding over General Courts Martial. Following his release from active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, Dave was appointed Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida where he investigated and prosecuted complex white collar crimes, including health care, insurance and bank fraud, for the next four years. In the spring of 2004, Dave Moyé decided to practice law in the private sector, and joined the state-wide law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker, P.A., maintaining an active trial practice as an equity partner of that law firm.
In the early part of 2003, after spending almost a decade in private practice trying civil law suits, Dave was asked by then, Florida Attorney General, Charlie Crist, to leave private practice for a short time to head the Attorney General's efforts in combating health care fraud and economic crime in the State of Florida. In April of 2003, Dave returned to public service accepting the Florida Attorney General's Appointment Assistant Deputy Attorney General for Health Care Fraud and Economic Crimes. Dave again returned to private practice after spending almost two years reorganizing and redirecting the efforts of the Attorney General's sworn law enforcement officers, white-collar forensic investigators and fraud attorneys toward proactive investigations and prosecutions of national health care providers, multi-national pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy benefit management companies, and lending institutions for the State of Florida.
As a trial lawyer, Dave continues the fight against those individual and corporate members of the health care, finance and insurance industries whose acts of careless indifference, deception and sometimes out-right fraud, cause unsuspecting members of the public to suffer economic loss, personal injury and even wrongful death.
